Featured in the New York Times, I am a New York City-based AEA actor and cabaret performer, stage manager, theatrical director, stage designer and much more!
I was recently seen on the stage as the hostess of the evening along side NYC-Based Drag Queen Legend, Zola Powell and featuring Rock and Roll Diva and Legend (Daughter of Jimmy Holiday) herself LA-Based, Debby Holiday (The Tina Turner Tribute) and her LIVE 10-piece band including stars - Sean McNabb, Derek Day, Sven Martin and Forrest Everett, at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire. A Charity event for Circle Program and Seacoast Outright.
I created the talk show “The Mama Rose Show” where I interviewed such fabulous guests as Soap Opera Legend Ilene Kristen, Twice Daytime Emmy nominated actress from “One Life to Live” and “Ryan’s Hope” and one of the stars of the original Broadway cast of Grease, “Sordid Lives” creator Del Shores and Emerson Collins, star of “A Very Sordid Wedding,” Matthew Scott Montgomery, Disney TV Star, among many others.
Alongside my husband Brian Geldin (Trailblazing publicist - Vocal Magazine) and Bonnie Rose (Veteran actress of TV/Film and Stage actress) co-created the internet tawkshow "Tawkin' with the Roses" - Two Queens, from Queens. Guests included Kathleen Gati of "General Hospital," Daphne Maxwell Reid of "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" as Aunt Viv, Debby Holiday, Billboard Charting Artist, David Dean Bottrell of "Boston Legal," Michelle Danner, film director, "Miranda's Victim," Paige Turner, NYC Drag Queen Spitfire Performer, and the iconic Pooya Mohseni, the first middle eastern trans actor to play the role of judge on a prime time procedural (Law and Order, SVU.)
I was featured with Brian in the New York Times' Style Section in the article, "A Good Kind of Upstaging."
As a New York City-based cabaret performer, I have performed on the London-based Harold Sanditen's Open Mic Party at Crazy Coqs. I also appeared on stage in Times Square's very own The Secret Room, Headliner of The Hidden Cabaret’s show "Love and Other Feelings," hosted by Craig Horsley with music director and keyboardist Terry Burrus (Keyboardist for Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin and many other icons.)
I have also worked behind the scenes as a stage manager, director and designer on the Off-Broadway circuit for more than 20 years. I have a long range of theatrical extravaganzas including my work at New York City's Metropolitan Opera in the Children’s chorus led by the late Elena Dore, as well as studying with the late Sanford Meisner.
